Faculty Senate Meeting Schedule
The full Faculty Senate convenes at least eight times a year between September and May. Faculty Senate meetings are open to all voting-eligible faculty. Meetings are traditionally held on Tuesdays from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. as notated in the Faculty Senate Bylaws.
Faculty Senate meeting agendas are set by the Senate Executive Committee and distributed to all voting-eligible faculty prior to a full Faculty Senate meeting.
All Faculty Senate meetings will be held in the Hawkins-Carlson room in Rush Rees library as well as over Zoom unless otherwise noted. The 2026-2027 academic year meeting dates are as follows:
- September 15, 2026 - Senate meeting and reception
- October 20, 2026
- November 17, 2026
- December 8, 2026
- January 26, 2027
- March 16, 2027
- April 20, 2027
- May 4, 2027 - Senate meeting and reception
- May 18, 2027 - First meeting of AY 2027-2028
Senate Executive Committee Meetings
The Senate Executive Committee (SEC) traditionally meets the week before and week after a full Faculty Senate meeting. As with the Faculty Senate meetings, Senate Executive Committee meetings are traditionally held on Tuesdays from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. as described in the Faculty Senate Bylaws.
Committee meetings are determined by each committee.
All SEC meetings are in Wallis Hall unless otherwise noted. During the 2026-2027 academic year the SEC will meet on the following dates:
