At Rochester:
- Four-year letter winner for women's swimming and diving team
- Team finished with overall record of 42-5 during her four seasons
- Member of the record-breaking 200-yard medley relay in all four years
- Also held records in the 100- and 200-yard breaststrokes
- Successful recovery from major knee surgery freshman season
- Worked part-time in a genetics lab at Strong Memorial Hospital
Post-Graduate:
- Studied at the University of Texas Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences in Houston
- Currently doing cancer research and directing a group of eight people comprised of postdoctoral fellows, graduate students, and technician
