At Rochester:

  • Dominating force at defensive tackle and All-American in football
  •  Led the Yellowjackets to a nationally-ranked scoring defense (14th)
  • Defense allowed only 96 points in 10 games and held opponents to 122.7 rushing yards per game in 1989
  • As a senior captain, set the UR 'season' records in: tackles (98); pass deflections (10) and in 'single game records': solo tackles (10) and team tackles (4); QB sack for 13-yd loss; 2 forced fumbles; 1 fumble recovery; and 2 deflected passes
  • 1990 MVP, All-Conference Team, UAA Defensive Player of the Year and selected All-American 2nd Team
  • Four-time UAA Player of the Week, three-time ECAC Player of the Week
  • Set the UR record for wins in a season in 1987 as a freshman defensive end
  • Led the team to UR football’s first-ever post-season play
  • Graduated with a BS in political science

Post-Graduate:

  • President of Furniture Village since 1995
  • Founding Member of Friends of Rochester Athletics
  • Youth Football League Commissioner (1996-98) and Coach (2003-08)
  • Serves on numerous Canandaigua Boards
  • Married Julie (UR '91) and father of three children: Jacob, Julianna and Alexandra.
