At Rochester:

  • Three-year varsity letterman in two sports
  • Four-year member of the football team where he served as running back on offense, linebacker on defense, and kicker on special teams
  • Set field goal and PAT kicking records
  • A member of the 1958 undefeated football team
  • Played in his "signature game" in 1960 against King's Point Long Island, where despite extremely poor field conditions he set individual records for rushing yards per game and scoring per game
  • Finished his football career with 20 wins and only 4 losses
  • He was a starting catcher in baseball
  • He was a member of the Psi Upsilon Fraternity
  • Graduated with a BA in history

Post-Graduate:

  • He had a career in banking with Citibank in Buffalo
  • Married fellow UR graduate Sara Normandeau Campbell ('60)
  • Passed away in February, 1990
