Jean A. Cardinale
'88
At Rochester:
- Played field hockey and lacrosse in each of her four seasons
- Helped field hockey win ECAC Division III Mid-Atlantic title in 1984 and New York State titles in 1984 and 1985
- Helped secure State playoff berths in 1986 and 1987
- School record-holder for career shutouts (19)
- Named All-UAA in field hockey in 1987, All Mid-Atlantic Region honors in 1987, All-State Tournament team in 1985, Honorable Mention All-State in 1985
- One letter for women's basketball in 1987
- Earned a B.S. in Cell and Development Biology in 1988
Post-Graduate:
- Received an M.S. in 1997 and a Ph.D., both in Microbiology and Immunology, from the University
- Awarded the Melville A. Hare Distinguished Teaching Award from the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at the University in 1995-96
- Member of the American Society for Microbiology since 1995
- Served as a volunteer coach at Rochester for field hockey (1989-93) and for women's lacrosse (1990-91)
