Tracey Buettgens Clancy
'94, '95 MS
At Rochester:
- One of the most accomplished and honored women's basketball players in the school's history
- Sat out her freshman year due to reconstructive knee surgery, but returned for her sophomore season and enjoyed a brilliant career
- She earned Holiday Inn and Chuck Resler All Tournament all three seasons (1991-1994 and was the first team All-State and All-UAA for two seasons (1992-1994)
- Second Team COSIDA Academic All-District honors in junior and senior years
- Team co-captain as a senior
- Won a Lysle "Spike" Garnish award in her senior year
- Was the team leader in rebounding and blocked shots all three years and leading scorer for two years
- Received a B.S. degree in Physics/Astronomy
- Member of Keidaeans
Post-Graduate:
- Earned her M.S. in Mechanical Engineering in 1995
- Worked as an engineer at Xerox for two years and at Carrier Corporation in Syracuse for six years
- Worked in Product Engineering and Corporate Technology, rising to the position of Senior Engineer
- Currently an adjunct professor at Onondaga Community College in the Mathematics and Business Departments
