At Rochester:
- Letters for football, as well as track and field
- Starting fullback sophomore year when he was nominated to the All-East Team
- Moved to halfback as a junior where he set Rochester records for rushing attempts (43 carries in a game) and yardage gained (226 yards) in a 32-0 win over Allegheny College
- Knee injury suffered cut short his football career, senior year - second game
- Ran on a 400 yard relay team that was undefeated in dual meet competition
- Won the New York State title as a sophomore and a junior
- Won the 440 yard relay at the Eastern United States College Championships as a junior and set a Rochester record that still stands today
- All-America honors as a junior
Post-Graduate:
- Participated with four U.S. World Bobsled Championship teams and three Olympic trials
- Retired from active bobsledding after an accident in 1988
- Works as a veterinarian in Ray Brook, NY
