At Rochester:
- Four-year letterman with the football team who also earned three letters for baseball
- Became a starter after the third game of his freshman year and kept the spot all four seasons
- Finished his career with 680 rushing attempts 2,315 yards, and 26 rushing TDs
- Ranked second in career attempts, fifth in yards gained, fourth in rushing TDs (entering 1997 season)
- Named Second Team GTE/CoSIDA Academic All-American in 1976 and 1977
- Starting centerfielder for baseball team in 1975, 1976, and 1978
- Team's top hitter (average, HRs, RBIs) in 1978
- Graduated with a double major in History and Psychology in 1978
Post-Graduate:
- Attended SUNY Buffalo Law School, graduated in May, 1981
- Joined Hancock & Eastbrook law firm in August, 1981 and still with them
- Made partner in 1989 and is currently the head of the Tax and Estates Department
