- Competed in high jump, shot put, and discus for track and field
- High scorer in basketball as a sophomore and junior
- Played in the All-College Tennis Tournament in his junior year
- Broke the school's discus record that season
- President of his freshman class
- Chairman, Sophomore Colass Sock Hop
- Business Manager of The Campus Times (undergraduate newspaper)
- Earned a degree in Optometry in 1935
Post-Graduate:
- Joined Bausch & Lomb immediately after graduation
- Manager, New York City office
- Established Bausch & Lomb Department for War Instruments in Rochester during World War II
- Vice President, Professional Relations for Bausch & Lomb until retirement in 1974
- President, Optical Manufacturers Association
- Director, Better Vision Institute
- Board Member and President, Rochester Eye and Human Parts Bank
