- Established Bausch & Lomb Department for War Instruments in Rochester during World War II
- Vice President, Professional Relations for Bausch & Lomb until retirement in 1974
- President, Optical Manufacturers Association
- Director, Better Vision Institute
- Board Member and President, Rochester Eye and Human Parts Bank
- Passed away in January, 2008
