- Earned a Baccalaureate Degree in Geology in 1951
Post-Graduate:
- Earned his M.D. degree from Case Western Reserve University in 1961
- Held residencies in general and orthopaedic surgery at the University of California Hospital in San Francisco and University Hospital in Cleveland, OH
- Settled in Reno, NV in 1966, and was the team physician for the University of Nevada for 25 years
- Helped to start the University of Nevada School of Medicine in 1972
- Associate Professor of Surgery, 1972-95
- Retired from practice in 1995
- Passed away in February, 2004
