At Rochester:
- Entered the University originally in the Class of 1944
- Played freshman football in 1941, varsity football in 1942
- Played basketball in 1942
- Entered the U.S. Navy in 1943
- Returned to the University as part of V-12 program in 1943, then Columbia Midshipmen's School
- Trained in Underwater Demolition Teams, UDT, Navy Scouts, and Raiders
- Duty in China
- Played football in Shanghai, China Rice Bowl in January, 1946
- Discharged from Navy, returned to Rochester in 1946
- Played football in 1946
- Awarded degree in Mechanical Engineering in January, 1947
Post-Graduate:
- Received Master's Degree in Engineering from Rochester in 1950, Ph.D. from Cornell in 1954
- Started 35-year career in nuclear power plant design, construction, and operation at General Electric's Knolls Power Laboratory in Schenectady and continued in San Diego, CA, and more than 20 nuclear plant sites throughout the nation
- Retired in 1990, but continues as a consultant in management, engineering, and project management
- Passed away in November, 2017
