At Rochester:
- Legendary scoring ace in lacrosse
- Most prolific goal scorer in UR lacrosse history
- Led the Yellowjackets in season scoring for three years and career scoring with 167 goals, 37 assists for 204 Points
- Had several 7-goal games
- Awarded the 1991 Lysle "Spike" Garnish Award
- Served on the Student Athletic Advisory Committee
- Was a brother of the Theta Chi Fraternity
- Made the Dean's List
- Graduated with a BA in political science and sociology.
Post-Graduate:
- Played for a select US Lacrosse team in England for one year following graduation from UR
- Attended Syracuse University College of Law, JD in 1995
- Partner with Albany law firm (17 years)
- Opened the Law Office of F. Matthew Jackson in 2012, specializing in commercial litigation, business counseling, creditors rights, collections and real estate law
- Rated as a Super Lawyer in 2011 and 2012
- Published Author and Lecturer
- Member and Officer of several Bar Associations and Boards
- President of the Colonie Youth Center
- Married to Molly and father of three children: Hannah, Devin and Haley.
