At Rochester:

  • Played No. 1 on the University's Squash team where he was undefeated for three years
  • Won the UR Men's Squash Championship three times
  • Served as a captain for the squash team, and also played doubles for the tennis team for three years
  • Played twice in the U.S. Intercollegiate Championships, reaching the quarterfinals once, and was once ranked in the top 10
  • Selected to the 15-man U.S. team that played Canada for the Lapham Cup in 1960
  • Earned a B.A. in English from the University

Post-Graduate:

  • Four-time New York City Doubles Champion
  • Has won more than 75 regional, district, club, and invitational tournaments
  • Founded Squash News, a publication that has promoted squash in the United States and helped bring the American squash scene up to a more prominent level internationally
  • Chairman of the Olympic Committee for the United States Squash Racquets Association
