  • Four-year letterwinner in basketball who captained the team in his junior and senior years
  • First Yellowjacket to score 1,000 points and collect 375 assists in a career
  • Established a Palestra record for most free throws in a game (sinking 18 of 20)
  • Shot better than 80% from the foul line for his career, especially in his final season (85%)
  • Graduated as the career leader in assists with both the single game and Palestra record
  • Earned a baccalaureate degree in Statistics in 1978

Post-Graduate:

  • Worked at the University for six years (1978-1984), first in the Development Office, then in Sports and Recreation as a business manager and men's assistant basketball coach
  • Joined the Kindred Company in Houston, Texas in 1984 as project manager for country clubs, golf resorts, city clubs, and athletic clubs
  • General manager for golf operations at Boca Raton (FL) Resort and Club, 1988-90
  • Director of operations for Global Basketball Association, 1990-92
  • Owner and president of Giant Enterprises, Inc. in Atlanta, which is involved in various golf ventures, including PGA, Senior PGA, LPGA, and European PGA events from 1992 - 2000
  • Owner of National Indoor Football League Omaha Beef until he passed away in 2002
