At Rochester:
- Was a four year defensive starter from 1980-1983
- Named defensive back MVP in freshman year
- Named defensive MVP in 1981 and 1983
- Was defensive captain in 1983 and made the ECAC team that same year
- Was ECAC Player of the Week each of four years
- Is the seventh all-time leading tackler and led the team in interceptions two years
- Third all-time in career interceptions and punt return yardage
- Has a B.A. in economics and English
