At Rochester:
- Played four years of football
- Named captain of the 1954 freshman football team
- Started at left guard for three years on the varsity football team
- Named Associated Press Honorable Mention Little All-American as a junior with teammate Larry Palvino
- Selected as a team captain of the varsity as a senior and considered as one of the best guards ever to play at Rochester
Post-Graduate:
- In 1976, was appointed to the initial board of directors of St. Joseph's Villa and served 16 years…currently serves on the Villa's Foundation board
- One of the founders of Pop Warner Youth Football in Rochester in the early 1960s
- Coached 1 of the original 4 teams - the Dutchtown Raiders
- Served for six years as commissioner of Pop Warner Football in Rochester area and built the league to 12 teams
- Later served as assistant coach for the Irondequoit Indians under head coach Don Bardell
- Currently serves as one of the Captains of Rochester United Way Leadership and has done so for the past 12 years
- Served on the University of Rochester Scholarship Committee
