John Minora
'81
At Rochester:
- Four-year starter at defensive tackle on the football team
- Recognized by his coaches for his spirited and aggressive play
- Defensive Player of the Year in 1979-80
- Defensive Player of the Week several times
- Selected for the ECAC All Star Team at defensive tackle
- Awarded the Lyle Spike Garnish Scholarship for student athletes
Post-Graduate:
- Attended Penn State’s Dickenson School of Law graduating in 1984
- Began Minora & Minora, a practice that has now grown to nine attorneys and over 18 total employees
- Responsible for the title work on the $150,000,000 Steamtown Mall project, the largest downtown development project in the history of the City of Scranton
- Currently represents the Scranton School District as General Counsel with a $130M budget and 1,300 employees
- He and his wife, Kathy, live in Moosic, Pennsylvania, and have two grown children
