Carolyn S. Misch
'89
At Rochester:
- Multiple-sport All-American, earning the honor for cross country in her sophomore and junior years and for outdoor track and field in her senior year
- Finished 14th at the NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships, setting two distinctions-she was the first Rochester female to qualify for cross country nationals and the first to win All-America honors
- NCAA Division III National Runnerup in cross country as a junior
- Earned All-America honors in the 5,000-meter run (finished fourth) as a senior
- Qualified for NCAAs in the 3000-meter run indoors and outdoors as a sophomore
- Qualified for the 1,500, the 3,000, and the 5,000 as a junior
- Qualified for the 3,000 and the 5,000 outdoors as a senior
- Team captain for all three teams in 1988-89
- Garnish Scholar recipient entering her senior year
Post-Graduate:
- Received a Master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Colorado in Denver in 1994
- Worked for Colorado Governor Romer for 18 months to manage growth and development statewide
- Returned to native North Carolina in 1996 and worked for the City of Raleigh Planning Development
- Currently living, working, and running in Northampton, MA
