- Four-year starter for the football team
- Two-time football All-American as a linebacker
- Earned team MVP and MVP-Defense as a junior
- Awarded Most Improved Player as a sophomore
- Two-time ECAC Player of the Week
- Set UR record for career tackles (300)
- Tied UR record for second most interceptions in one game (3)
- Received 1979 Lysle "Spike" Garnish Award
- Two-time batting leader for the baseball team
- Career .415 hitter and 1st baseman
- Member of the Delta Kappa Epsilon Fraternity
- Co-chair and vice president of the Engineering Council from 1980-1982
- Graduated with honors and a BS in mechanical engineering
Post-Graduate:
- Career in operations/manufacturing/finance with P&G, Avery, Oracle, Pricewaterhouse/Coopers and IBM
- Advanced Operations Strategy Executive Program at Harvard Business School, 2005
- Became a Senior Consultant with IBM
- Has a wife, Diana, and three children: Jennifer, Lauren, Morgan, and grandson, Colton
