At Rochester:

  • A distinguished career at quarterback for the football team who started behind center for every game
  • Led freshman team in 1956 to a 5-0 record, followed by a 20-4 record with the varsity-5-3 mark in '57, a perfect 8-0 in 1958 (only the second perfect season in gridiron history), and 7-1 in 1959
  • From 1957-59, quarterbacked the team to a school-record winning streak of 15 straight wins
  • Threw 36 touchdown passes in 29 games, 25 in 24 varsity games
  • Ranks fourth in career TD passes here entering the 2002 season
  • Named AP Little All-America in 1957
  • Won the University's Gordon Wallace Trophy (Outstanding Back) in 1957, shared it in 1958
  • Three letters for football, two for baseball

Post-Graduate:

  • Served on active duty as a Commissioned Officer in the U.S. Navy from 1960-62
  • Practiced law for twenty years in Massena, NY
  • Currently serves as the County Judge of St. Lawrence County-a post he has held since 1985
