- Played professional baseball in Savannah, GA and Kingston, NY
- Worked for the Department of Sports and Recreation in a variety of coaching and administrative areas from 1955-68
- Director of Athletics at the University of Scranton from 1968-74
- Coached Scranton to ECAC Southern Regional Baseball title in 1973
- Returned to Rochester as Director of Athletics in 1974
- Added women's sports in lacrosse, soccer, and track & field from 1976-80
- Planned and organized the multi-million dollar construction of the Zornow Sports Complex
- Member of the ECAC Executive Council from 1974-77
- Member of NCAA Division III Basketball Committee from 1979-81
- Left the University in 1981
- Received a Distinguished Service Award from the ECAC in 1992
- Dean and vice president St. John Fisher College, 1982-88
