Played left halfback in football and had a 70 yard TD run against Syracuse in 1908
Scored 78 field goals during the 1909-10 basketball season
Named to the All-American team in 1910

Post-Graduate:
Joined Bausch & Lomb Optical Co. after graduation, first working in the scientific bureau and then in the scientific instrument sales division
Was assigned to production control at the B&L glass plant during World War I
Promoted to Sales Manager of the Opthalmic Division and later in 1947, named Vice President of the division
Also named a Director of the Firm at that time
In 1962, he received the Stadium Club's Special Award in recognition of his performance as an outstanding basketball and football player during his undergraduate days
