Lisa Allen Weld
'96
At Rochester:
- A true competitor in soccer and All-American at outside back
- Led the team to a top 20 ranking during her three seasons after transfer, and a ranking of Top 4 as a senior
- Chosen as a team captain as a junior and a senior
- Led the Lady Jackets to three NCAA Regional Tournament finals
- Named three-times to All-UAA Academic team
- Two-time All-NYS First Team selection (1995, 1996)
- All-UAA Second Team as a sophomore
- Honored as a Junior with the 1995 Lysle "Spike" Garnish Award
- Dean's List scholar
- Graduated with a BA in psychology in 1996.
Post-Graduate:
- Earned a MS in school counseling in 1997
- Selected to the Umbro Select College All-Star Classic in 1997
- Has a career as School Counselor with Pittsford School District, since 1997
- Played professional soccer for the USL's Rochester Ravens
- Was the assistant coach at UR (1999-2004)
- Married Matthew Weld (UR '96) and they have three young soccer players, Madeline, Parker and Charlie.
