Post-Graduate:
- Signed with the St. Louis Cardinals and pitched for the Rochester Red Wings in 1937 before joining Eastman Kodak
- 1974-Received the National Football Foundation's Gold Medal Award for significant contributions to collegiate football
- First recipient of the University's Lysle "Spike" Garnish Memorial Committee Citation
- 1976-the American Football Coaches Association gave him the Amos Alonzo Stagg Award for outstanding services to football
- 1978-Received the NCAA's Theodore Roosevelt Award, for significant contributions to higher education and amateur athletics
- Kodak Vice President of Marketing and President and Chairman of the Board
- Served as Chairman of the President's Commission on Olympic Sports
