Robert Keegan S (MBA), president and CEO of the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, received the Oscar S. Stauffer Executive in Residence Award in February. The award is given to an executive in the Topeka, Kan., area and is sponsored by the Washburn Endowment Association. . . . Elinda Fishman Kiss (Mas), ’83 (PhD) has been named teaching professor in the department of finance at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business in College Park.

Clyde Bailey (MS), a patent attorney at Eastman Kodak Co., was inaugurated last August as the 61st president of the National Bar Association, the nation’s oldest and largest national association of predominantly African-American lawyers and judges. . . . Ronald Fielding (MA), ’76S (MBA) has given his undergraduate institution, St. John’s College in Annapolis, Md., $10 million—the largest gift in the college’s 300-year history. . . . Cheryl Neel Mendelson (PhD) published her first novel, Morningside Heights, in June. . . . Barry Phelps S (MBA) was appointed to a six-year term on the board of trustees of St. Lawrence University. His term began July 1, 2002.
