Peter Serry writes that copies of his father’s (John Serry Sr.) compositions have been accepted into the archives of the Eastman School of Music’s Sibley Music Library within the Ruth T. Watanabe Special Collections Department. The works include scores for piano, organ, flute, and free bass accordion, and reflect developments in modern music from the Big Band era of the 1930s to modern times. John Tanenbaum and his wife, Amy, write to announce the birth of their fourth child, Rebecca Eve, last January. Rebecca joins her two big brothers, Daniel (10 ¼), Samuel (8 ½); and her big sister, Hannah (6 ½). John is a practicing real-estate attorney and developer. He writes, “Amy and I are very busy tending to all the children’s activities, two goldendoodle puppies, and the reconstruction and renovation of our home.
