NSF I-Corps Regional Course: Session 5
October 28, 2020 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm
The NSF I-Corps Upstate New York (UNY) Node is offering a Regional Course program for researchers interested in exploring the market potential of their work and learning entrepreneurial skills. In the I-Corps regional course, STEM field researchers and student entrepreneurs learn how to “get out of the building” and learn from potential customers. Their goal is to determine if they are solving a real-world problem with a sizeable market opportunity. In addition to providing entrepreneurial training, this program helps researchers identify new ways to apply their current or future research to solve real-life challenges.
Short Course graduates will have the opportunity to be recommended for the NSF I-Corps National Teams program, which offers grant awards of up to $25,000. Previous NSF funding is NOT required to apply.
