Web Developers & Designers
University of Rochester

DETAILS & HOW TO APPLY

DESCRIPTION

My name is Souleymane, and I am a Sophomore at the University of Rochester studying Politics, Philosophy, and Economics. Over the past four months, a friend and I have been working on developing an innovative recruitment and learning platform that seeks to connect talented and diverse university students to job and internship opportunities, and to closing the skill gap among youth and job seekers across Africa and beyond. We are an early stage for profit start-up with all the needed initial concepts (e.g. Business Model, UX Design, Customer Discovery…etc) already developed (or almost done), thanks largely to the Ain Center for Entrepreneurship Innov8 Program. We are reaching out to the University of Rochester community of developers to ask if anyone would be interested in joining our Team. We are particularly looking for at least two people who have a keen interest in web development and web design, and like playing around with some high level algorithms that can save people’s time by connecting them to what they need, when they need it. But more importantly, we’re looking for aspiring entrepreneurs and Team players who love the Lean Model. Joining our Team is a great opportunity to put your technical skills in practice into a project that may become a business in a sector that has a lot of potential: EdTech.

Position:
