Overview of WCMS Training

Cascade Server is the web content management system (WCMS) that is used by the University to maintain websites. The WCMS is a tool for creating standardized pages for your website and managing their content.

While it works in most web browsers, we recommend that you use Google Chrome, which can be downloaded for free at If you're working from off campus you will need to use Remote Access (VPN) to log in to the Cascade Server.

How to use the WCMS

The links in the side menu of this section will provide the basics of editing and publishing within the WCMS. If you would like to schedule a WCMS training session please complete our Service Request Form.

The training session will review the basics of editing and publishing as well as tips and best practices. You may also want to review our Web Style Guide of recommendations for fostering consistency across AS&E websites.
