Trustees
Alumni Elected to Board
Four prominent business, financial services, and health care leaders have been
elected to the University’s Board of Trustees. The new trustees include:
Richard Handler ’83, the chairman and CEO of Jefferies & Co., the
principal operating group of the investment bank and securities firm of Jefferies
Group. An economics major at Rochester, Handler earned an M.B.A. from Stanford.
Nathan Frederick Moser ’75, the chairman and CEO of National Envelope
Corporation. Moser, a political science major as an undergraduate, holds a law
degree from Syracuse.
William Peck ’60M (MD), ’00 (HNR), the former executive vice chancellor
for Medical Affairs at Washington University in St. Louis who now is a director
of Midwest Healthcare Equities. Peck, a former professor of medicine and biochemistry
at Rochester, also directs the Center for Health Policy at Washington University.
Michael Rosen ’82, ’83S (MBA), the cochairman and CEO of Context
Capital Management, an investment company he founded in 2001. An economics major,
Rosen was as a partner in Fielding Management Co., founded by Ronald Fielding
’73, ’76S (MBA), before launching his own company.
