Instructor Access

Through Instructor Access in Blackboard, instructors can:

For Instructor Access to work, you must first clear your cache and cookies. Once this is done you can login to Instructor UR Access Plus!in Blackboard. Clearing your cache and cookies varies by browser, the best way to find out how to do this is to google “How do I clear my cache and cookies in Browser Name?”

System Trouble

Are you using Netscape 4.7 or Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher? These browser versions work best. On the left hand panel of the ACCESS Plus! system splash page is a link called ‘Known Issues’—see if your problem is browser related.

If you receive a message that the security certificate has expired, download a newer browser version.

Be sure your browser is functioning. Go to the University of Rochester homepage. If you connect, your browser and socket are working.

The system requires that cookies be turned on. For steps on how to check this, use Google or another search engine to search for your browser name and turn on cookies.
