Buzz Lab Boot Camp: Session 1 – Innovation and Strategies for Growth

The University of Rochester Ain Center for Entrepreneurship is launching a new boot camp program designed for entrepreneurs, small business owners and aspiring small business owners in the greater Rochester community called “Buzz Lab: Four Saturdays for a Better Business.” This program, which runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., on Saturdays, Feb. 10, 17, 24, and Mar. 3, is supported by a University Center grant from the Economic Development Administration within the U.S. Department of Commerce. The first session, Innovation and Strategies for Growth, will take place on February 10 and cover such topics as Management of Ideas, Business Management, Bootstrapping, and the PathStone Enterprise Center. Lunch will be provided. Instructors and guest speakers include:
- Mark Wilson, Neworks, LLC, and Simon Business School
- Bob Tobin, Simon Business School (retired)
- Hubert Van Tol, PathStone Enterprise Center
- Don Vidler, Vidler’s 5 & 10
The general public may register online for the Buzz Lab Boot Camp by Wednesday, February 7, 2018.
Simon students must register on SimonWorks, and are invited to enroll in one or more sessions of their choice.
