Annual Celebration of Diversity and Community

For 17 years, Celebrate Diversity (a program created in the Office of the Dean of Students) has been a Rochester tradition and orientation program our students fondly remember years later as seniors.

Through the power of music and dance, Celebrate Diversity introduces incoming students from the College and the Eastman School of Music to the University’s richly diverse and inclusive community. By joining forces with Eastman, incoming students enjoy an evening of music and dance performed by talented students from both schools.

Celebrate Diversity gives incoming students a glimpse of the kind of diversity, equity, and inclusion they will experience at Rochester and helps them truly understand what we mean by One University.

This program is sponsored by Wilson Commons Student Activities, Office of Orientation and First-Year Programs, and the Eastman School of Music.
