Explore documentation around Rochester Core’s Footer component.
While the footer component is a component of the website, it isn’t found in the same place as the rest of the varied-width components.
To create a new footer or to edit an existing one, visit Settings > Site Settings. Scrolling to the bottom will reveal the Footer Component settings.
This simple check box dictates if the footer component will be enabled or disabled.
The quick links section of the footer component provides a space to add important/relevant links that should be easy to access to any page. A title for this section can be added to help give context to the links.
Add content to the quick links section with the quick links menu builder. Here an icon, link, and title for the link can be added. Simple choose “add row” to add more links to the footer.
It’s important to stay visually constant by either adding icons to all the links or none of the links.
The footer component has a special address field to give an address or location. This field clearly displays the information in the footer.
The footer component also has a specific field to add a phone number.
To create and display an easy means of contact use the contact link field. If you would like to link to an email address, type “mailto:” followed by the desired email address with no spaces in the URL area.

The right-hand side of the footer component has the ability to house social media links. Here’s how to create a social media link:
