Hajim School of Engineering & Applied Sciences
- Financial aid played an important role in recruiting the best and the brightest students. Students who want to use their engineering and applied sciences degrees to solve some of society’s most pressing challenges and make the world ever better.
- Hajim students gained valuable experience by participating in research, internships, and global experiences. Research provided students the chance to develop creative and analytic skills that enhance their problem-solving abilities; internships allowed students to put into practice what they learned in the classroom in real-world scenarios; global experiences broaden students’ perspectives. Donor support made it possible for students to have these experiences regardless of their financial resources.
- George Eastman Circle support made it possible for students to attend a number of national conferences for their professional societies, including (but not limited to) the Society of Women Engineers (SWE), the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE), and the Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers (SASE).
