Bloch Alumni Advancement Center (BAAC)

Special event parking is not available during normal business hours. For reservations on evenings and weekends, contact Luis Cruz at lcruz@parking.rochester.edu.

Laboratory for Laser Energetics (LLE)

Special event parking is not available during normal business hours. For reservations on evenings and weekends, contact Luis Cruz at lcruz@parking.rochester.edu.

Library Rd. Lot

Trustee Lot

Wallis Lot
  • Capacity: 3 vehicles
Zone 1 South (Intercampus Drive)

Zone 2 North (Intercampus Drive)

Zone 3 South

Parking Reservations

Begin your parking request by completing the online reservation form

You will receive a reservation confirmation after your request is received.

Depending on the date and time of your event and the number of guests you anticipate attending, parking may be accommodated on campus or may require shuttle service to an offsite location.

Parking reserves the right to utilize any parking area during special events.  An alternate parking site will be provided for use.

Parking Payment Options

The online event reservation form requires your department’s FAO/Ledger/spend account number at the time you make your parking reservation.

The following payment methods are available:

  • Attendees Pay for Their Own Parking
    For events held weekdays between 7:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., guests may pay for their own parking at the time of the event by stopping at the Information Booth.

      • Daily rate: $6
      • Cash or credit cards (Discover, MasterCard, and Visa) are accepted.
  • Purchase Parking Passes for your Attendees
    Direct your guests to stop at the Information Booth on Wilson Boulevard to receive their parking pass and directions.
  • Pay for Attendee Parking by Providing a Keycode
    On River Campus, key codes are available for Library Lot and Trustee Lot. When the access code has been approved and created, you will receive an email with the new key code for distribution to your guests. Your department will be billed at the end of the month for the use of the code using the account number provided at the time the code was set up. Request a keycode here.
  • Pay for Attendee Parking with FAO #
    Department FAOs will be charged at the end of the month using the account number provided on the reservation form.

Optional Services

Costs for optional services will be charged to department FAOs at the end of the month using the account number provided on the reservation form.

Parking Attendants

Parking attendants are available for mobile patrol, directing traffic, and staffing at gated lots and/or the Information Booth on Wilson Boulevard.

Note: The Information Booth is staffed from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Monday–Friday, and there is no event staffing fee during these hours. Events that require Information Booth staffing outside of these hours or on weekends will be charged an attendant fee:

  • $45 per hour for each attendant (2-hour minimum)
    Attendants will be on site 30 minutes prior to the event start time.
  • $55 per hour for a supervisor (2-hour minimum)
Traffic Control Equipment

The following options are available to help direct and manage parking for your guests.

  • Traffic Cones – $5 per cone
  • Barricades – $10 per barricade
  • Generic Sandwich Board Sign (24 x 36 inches) – $5 per sign
    A limited number of generic  “Special Event” signs are available to rent. Please do not attach additional wording or signs once they are in place.
  • Custom Sandwich Board Sign (24 x 36 inches) – $125 per sign
    One month’s notice is required to create a custom sign.
Cancellation Policy

Events canceled less than 48 hours in advance will be responsible for 50% of the event fee. If the event is canceled on site, the full event fee will be charged. To cancel an event, contact Quentin Shaw, Special Event Coordinator, at qshaw@ur.rochester.edu.
