Scottsville Shuttle Returns to Full Capacity and Regular Stops; Masks Still Required

As the University of Rochester begins removing some of the COVID-related requirements on many parts of our campuses, the Department of Transportation and Parking Management has begun to readjust some of the parking measures put into place during the start of the coronavirus pandemic.

Effective immediately, the Scottsville shuttle will resume operating at full passenger capacity (riders may sit or stand). Beginning Tuesday, July 6, regular service will be restored with shuttle stops at the School of Medicine and Dentistry; Crittenden Boulevard at Golisano’s Children’s Hospital; and Crittenden Boulevard at Whipple Circle. The new shuttle schedule can be viewed at https://bit.ly/scottsvilleshuttle. For your convenience, shuttles can be tracked in real-time on the TransLoc website at https://rochester.transloc.com/, or download the free smartphone app.

Other safety measures are still in place. Most notably, all shuttle passengers must continue to wear a face mask, regardless of vaccination status, as per CDC guidelines for public transportation: https://bit.ly/transitguidelines

All shuttles will continue to be disinfected multiple times throughout the day and sanitized overnight.

We thank you for riding with us and appreciate your cooperation with the face mask requirement. If you have questions, please contact our office at (585) 275-4524 or transportation@rochester.edu.
