The Half-Time Remote Permit is for full-time employees who need to park on campus two days or less per week where a parking permit is required.
Lots available for Half-Time Remote Permit parking:
- Lot 2-Lattimore
- Lot 9-Kendrick Road
Fee: 50% of the lot’s regular full-time rate
Approval process
Supervisor or manager approval is required through an online request form. Departments may designate an administrator to complete the request.
Current permit holders
Employees with permits in Lots 1, 2, 9, 11, or Scottsville Road will remain in their existing lots. All other permit holders who are approved for Remote parking will be eligible to transfer to Lot 2 or Lot 9.
New permit holders
Employees new to registering for parking and approved for Remote parking will be assigned to a lot based on availability and eligibility.

Who is considered a full-time parker?
Employees who park 2 days or less per week in a lot where a permit is required are not considered full-time parkers and therefore are eligible for either of the parking options.
Employees who park 3 days or more a week in a lot where a permit is required are considered full-time parkers and are not eligible for either of these permit options.
