Departments can request and retrieve validations online. Validations are only valid in Medical Center lots – Lot 13 Hospital Garage, Lot 8 Medical Research Building (MRB), or Lot 14 Saunders Research Building (SRB).  Purchasing validations online eliminates filling out 312 blue requisitions, waiting for validations to be processed by the Parking office and reduces the risk of theft. Departments pay only for validations used and payment is via a journal entry to the department account.

PLEASE NOTE: Validations are intended for patient and visitor use only.  Use of validations by a staff member may result in a citation.

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

Q: I still need to have a stack printed. Where will I get the paper? A: Transportation and Parking will provide the paper and mail it to your intramural address.

Q: Will the validated tickets have a unique bar code? How will department be charged? A: Each validation has an individual QR code.  Departments. will be charged for all validations used in a month through an automatic journal entry to the department account.

Q: What if we prefer the old system? A: The current process to obtain validations is still available.

Q: If I want to validate the entry ticket where do I find the ticket number? A: On the entry ticket there is a 10 digit ticket number. Enter in the 10 digit ticket number and then select the Create Validation button.

Q: What if I use multiple FAO’s?  A: If you use multiple FAO’s you will need to complete a request for each one.

Q: The person that used to do this is no longer in the department. How do I go about getting access?  A: Simply complete the request form and under comments type in the person’s name you are replacing.
