Event Parking

For event parking in the University's various lots, begin your parking request by completing an online form.

You will receive a reservation confirmation from the Parking Office after your request is submitted. Depending on the date and time of your event and the number of guests you anticipate, parking may be accommodated on campus or may require shuttle service to an offsite location.

Parking reserves the right to use any parking area during special events. An alternate parking site will be provided for use.

The online reservation form requires your department's FAO account number at the time you make your parking reservation. The following payment methods are available:

  1. Attendees pay for their own parking.
    • For events held weekdays between 7:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., guests may pay for their own parking at the time of the event by stopping at the Information Booth on Wilson Boulevard. The daily rate is $6 and cash or credit cards (Discover, MasterCard, and Visa) are accepted.
  2. Purchase parking passes for your attendees
    • Direct your guests to stop at the Information Booth on Wilson Boulevard to receive their parking pass and directions.
  3. Pay for attendee parking by providing a keycode
    • On River Campus, keycodes are available for the Library Lot and Trustee Lot. When the access code has been approved created, you will receive an email with the keycode for distribution to your guests. Your department will be billed at the end of the month for use of this code using the account number provided at the time the code was created. Request a keycode.
  4. Pay for attendee parking with an FAO account
    • Departmental FAOs will be charged at the end of the month using the account number provided on the reservation form.
