Event Technology

ECM Event Support provides live audio-visual services for meetings, presentations, panel discussions, performances, and more. The type of audio-visual service available varies by event venue, listed below.

ECM also provides audio-visual support to River Campus classroom, library, and auditorium spaces. Reach out to ecmhelp@rochester.edu for assistance in any other spaces.

Feldman Ballroom

Audio

  • 8 wireless mics
  • 6 wired mics
  • Speaker stacks and monitors
  • *For more than 8 wireless mics, audio must be run by an outside company

Lighting

  • Basic Lighting: House lights and static basic stage wash
  • Standard Lighting: 20 or less total cues
  • Advanced Lighting: 21 or more total cues

Video

  • Projection from 1 or 2 sources

  • Lighting ground packages (MegaBars, movers)
Sloan Performing Arts Center

Typical Setup

  • Risers fully extended
  • Full seating
  • Black legs
  • Black drop or white cyc

Audio

  • Basic Audio: Up to 2 wireless mics and playback
  • Standard Audio: 14 or less audio inputs (max of 8 wireless mics) and playback
  • Advanced Audio: 15 or more audio inputs (max of 8 wireless mics) and playback
  • *For more than 8 wireless mics, audio must be run by an outside company

Lighting

  • Basic Lighting: 1 look (lights up/down, front, down, no color)
  • Standard Lighting: 20 or less total cues (front, down, cyc, color)
  • Advanced Lighting: 21 or more total cues with a max amount of 120 (front, down, movers, cyc, color)
