LiDA Center – Examples of Ed Tech Companies Collaborations
Here are just a few examples of how the LiDA Center has collaborated with ed tech companies and start-ups:
- Supporting Safe Side Prevention, a company founded by UR Medical Center faculty Anthony Pisani to scale up his successful professional development on suicide prevention for health care and youth services professionals, in their efforts to leverage digital technologies to enhance the quality and effectiveness of their current products.
- The LiDA Center partnered with Wordsmyth to submit a SBIR grant proposal.
- The LiDA Center has facilitated a collaboration between TeachersConnect and the NSF-funded Noyce project preparing digitally-rich STEM teacher leaders, to develop an online community.
- Dave Miller led a group of Warner doctoral students to a visit of Boston-area ed tech start-ups.
