Move-In
Upperclass students may start to move into their on-campus housing starting at 9 a.m. on Thursday, August 21, 2025. Please see the bottom of the page for early arrival information.

After Hours Instructions
If you arrive outside of check-in hours, you may be let into your room in the same manner as a lockout. You can pick up your keys at the next check-in hours or area office business hours. Area Offices are open 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Area Offices will be closed on Monday, September 1 in observance of Labor Day.
If arriving between 8 p.m. and midnight, call your RA on duty.
If arriving after midnight, call Public Safety at (585) 275-3333.
Early Arrival Registration
For security and other logistical reasons, residents are not permitted to check into campus housing before the established check-in dates. However, early arrival to campus housing in August will be available to all upperclass students in campus housing for fall 2025 who wish to return one day early. Students choosing to arrive on Wednesday, 20 must register by emailing their area office and will be charged a fee of $100. This fee will be applied to student accounts. During the early arrival period, students are permitted to register only for themselves and cannot have unregistered overnight visitors stay with them during the early arrival period.
Group Early Arrival
Students who are part of an approved early arrival group may move in only on the approved date or any day after that. Area Offices will be open for approved early arrivals Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. On Saturday, August 16, Area Offices will be open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Innovation Square students are encouraged to check in between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. on weekdays but can also check in after hours with Innovation Square's security at the front desk.
