The University Health Service Primary Care team has medical offices on the River Campus, in the Medical Center, and at the Eastman School of Music. Visits to the University Health Service are covered by the mandatory health fee.

Scheduling an appointment

All visits to University Health Service are by appointment. Please CALL FIRST to schedule an appointment before coming to a University Health Service or University Counseling Center office.

Whenever offices are closed

A University Health Service Primary Care physician and a University Counseling Center mental health professional are on-call and available for urgent concerns that cannot wait until the offices re-open. If you need medical assistance, please call us at the numbers listed above.

To report an emergency, please call (585) 275-3333 if on-campus or 911 if off-campus.

During the Summer: The hours change at the University Health Service offices. Specific information about hours during the summer will be posted on this website.

Academic Calendar August – May

Weekday Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm except Tuesday when the office opens at 9:00 am
Weekend Hours: Saturdays, 11:00 am-4:30 pm

Winter and Spring Break

Weekday Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm except Tuesday when the office opens at 9:00 am
Weekend Hours: The office will be closed on weekends

Summer Breaks

Weekday Hours: 8:00am-4:30 pm Monday – Friday
Weekend Hours: The office will be closed on weekends

The office will be closed on Memorial Day, Juneteenth, July 4th, December 26th and January 2nd for observance of UR Holidays.

The office will have shortened hours in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day and Labor day. We will be open from 11:00 am-4:30 pm with limited staffing.

Our Medical Center Office is temporary closed for renovations. Please contact us at (585) 275-2662 to schedule an appointment at our River Campus Office.
