Faculty and staff can request an orientation presentation from University Health Service Primary Care, Counseling Center, or Health Promotion.
Primary care and wellness presentations
The mission of the University Health Service is to improve the health and well-being of University of Rochester students by making our primary care, counseling services, and health promotion programs available and accessible to all students under the Mandatory Health Fee.

Supporting student mental health presentation
Student mental health is an important priority. In this session, you will learn about the University Counseling Center’s approach to care, which includes an individualized assessment and a comprehensive treatment plan to address each student’s unique needs and concerns. You’ll also learn how the University Health Service Health Promotion Office supports students’ mental well-being through the UR Connected peer coaching program, mindfulness workshops, and yoga classes. In addition, you will discover the importance of self-care and easy ways students can take care of their mental health during COVID.
