Workday system update

On September 20, 2025, UR Workday completed a feature release upgrade. All users (myURHR, MyHR, UR Student, UR Procurement, UR Financials) will now see the user interface changes listed below.

Profile uplift

UR Workday has updated the visual styling, color and layout of user profile pages on the web. This uplift creates a cleaner and more intuitive presentation of profile information now with a larger profile picture when one is present.

Quick Tasks

UR Workday has enhanced Home page functionality and usability with a set of buttons at the top of the page to quickly access common tasks.

Options shown are based on a user’s security role. When more than five buttons are available, a vertical ellipse icon reveals additional Quick Tasks when clicked. These will be displayed on both web and mobile devices.

Note that in the future, Quick Tasks can change in order or offering. These tasks will also continue to be accessible using the search bar, global navigation, or Apps feature.

Save in Favorites

UR Workday now includes a new Save icon directly on select tasks to bookmark your favorite pages, offering a consistent, quick saving experience without leaving your current workflow.

All saved tasks appear in the Favorites view and are accessible from the Saved View pop-up when set, the Saved feature in the Global Navigation Menu (Figure 5), or from Favorites under the Profile icon (Figure 6).

Together, these changes are an easier way to find tasks and create favorites!
