Take Action to Claim your PTO payout by December 12 in myURHR

For SEIU employees: The PTO Plan Year ends January 10, 2026, and you must take action to receive your payout.

For non-SEIU employees: The PTO Plan Year ends December 31, 2025 and you must take action to receive your payout.

Full-time or part-time employees with standard hours of 33 or more who have PTO balances at the end of the plan year and who are in a status to receive 56 hours in the 2026 PTO plan year must actively choose how to receive it: Choose one of these options in myURHR, if no action taken your balance will roll over and will not be paid out.

  • Receive a cash payout of the unused PTO hours, subject to all federal, state, and FICA taxes.
  • Choose to have the value of all unused PTO hours placed in your existing 403(b) Retirement Account(s) on a tax-deferred basis according to your current Employee Voluntary Contribution allocation. Your contribution will be subject to all current IRS regulations and limits and applicable FICA taxes. Applicable taxes will be deducted in the January 16, 2026, biweekly pay statement.
  • Choose to have the value of all unused PTO hours placed in your existing 403(b) Retirement Account(s) on a Roth after-tax basis according to your current Employee Voluntary Contribution allocation. Your contribution will be subject to all current IRS regulations, limits, and applicable taxes. Applicable taxes will be deducted in the January 16, 2026, biweekly pay statement.
  • Roll Over your unused balance to the next plan year. REMINDER: the maximum PTO that can be used in a year is 56 hours. Balances above this limit are not accessible for use in a plan year.

If no action is taken by the deadline, your unused PTO will automatically roll over. Please note: this rollover will cause your PTO balance to exceed the allowable annual usage limit.
