As a myURHR Super User, how do you feel your myURHR role is having an impact on the University community?

As a myURHR Super User, I feel that I play a vital role in preparing our teams for go-live and helping to ensure their understanding of the upcoming changes and new processes. I deliver monthly presentation updates during our meetings and share helpful resources, communications, and updates through our weekly email newsletters. Frequently, I serve as a key resource for questions, which reinforces the importance of my role in clarifying information and pointing folks to resources.

What are you most looking forward to with the go-live of myURHR this December?

Less paper! I’m looking forward to seeing many of our paper and email workflows integrated directly into myURHR Workday and UKG, particularly with regard to the more efficient time-off request process.

What is the number one workflow or task that you want to learn more about during myURHR training?

I’m looking forward to gaining a better understanding of how UKG and myURHR will integrate. Timecards and time-off requests will be a big change for our group so looking forward to learning more and having a better understanding of how this will function.

In what ways do you think myURHR will benefit nursing colleagues the most?

I think the biggest benefit to our nursing group will be the integration of schedules flowing into myURHR UKG, eliminating the need for transferring data between systems.

How do you handle challenging projects or tasks OR how do you approach challenges in your position?

I approach challenges with a proactive and flexible mindset. I also find that collaboration is key; and as a member of our Ambulatory Nursing group, we support each other and share ideas to troubleshoot any issues that arise. This approach effectively addresses challenges while fostering innovation and teamwork, especially as we prepare for the upcoming changes with myURHR.

What keeps you motivated while working in an ever-changing environment?

I stay motivated in an ever-changing environment by embracing the opportunities for growth and learning from change. Change offers the chance to collaborate, inspire solutions, and foster teamwork.

What piece of advice would you like to share with nurses and other clinical staff as we get ready for myURHR?

Change can be challenging and uncomfortable. However, looking at this implementation positively can make for an easier transition. myURHR will offer better and more integrated systems for our HR processes, which is exciting! While adapting may take time, collaborating and supporting one another during this transition will facilitate a smoother process.
