Career Pathways expands opportunities for high-demand roles

UR Career Pathways (URCP) is opening doors to high-demand careers with a focus on 17 roles and a new LPN cohort on the way! The program provides full-time University of Rochester employees with the training and support needed to enhance their skills, while helping to fill critical positions across the University.

Since 2022, 679 employees have applied to Career Pathways, with 319 accepted and more applications are still being processed. 46 employees have completed the program and 91% have moved into new positions at URMC. Currently, 136 employees are active participants—83% are preparing for nursing roles while the other 17% are enrolled for other positions that include surgical technologist, radiologic technologist, sleep technician, respiratory therapist, ambulatory technologist, and phlebotomist.
