Completing the Hiring Process

  • Once the offer has been made and the candidate is ready to start in their new role the hiring manger should conclude the recruitment process by completing the Candidate Record Sheet. Thisnform lists all applicants considered in the recruitment and the outcome of their candidacy. Once completed this form should be forwarded to the HR Liaison for affirmative action record keeping.
  • The department manager should then prepare the office for the new hire including preparing anynew hire orientation material, work supplies, keys, etc. A meeting should be schedule soon afterthe start of the new hire to go over work expectations, probationary period, time card and payroll procedures and any other critical information.
